Thank you Thank you Thank you for posting this. I wonder how many people remember but the Giants were chasing Atlanta that same weekend, and the Giants were beating LA while Atlanta was beating Colorado and if the Giants had won the next day (Salmon Torres day 12-1 pasting) we would have had a 1 game Playoff vs Atlanta at the Stick...Anyhow, I heard about Cal coming back v. Oregon and ROARED my ass up to Tightwad Hill, nearly lost a water bottle in the process, and if it wasn't for an injury time out I would have missed possibly the end of the game!!!! I do remember dudes on Tightwad giving each other a beer shower up there!! Just epic!!1

Priorities, dude, priorities.

(Married with kids - but I like to talk the talk).

My first date with my wife was actually a college football game (Colorado vs...I forget), so that helped establish a baseline acceptance of college football. Though she sure doesn't like it when I watch 3+ games on Saturdays in the fall. Thank god for TiVo - shorten those games up a bit.

This was NOT a good day for me and all my Cal buddies. As it turned out, it was the day I got married to my first wife, and everyone missed the game. We did manage to listen to Starkey calling the game, which was the only bright spot out of the whole marriage thing.
